Wrong domain name suffix

    I recently purchased a domain through WordPress. I’m sure that I selected the .org suffix on my domain name. Instead I have .wordpress.com suffix. How can this be changed? Our organization website is currently transylvaniafrenchbroadstewards.wordpress.com. It should be transylvaniafrenchbroadstewards.org. But when I try to change my domain name, I get the following message, “The domain name you entered is already mapped to a WordPress.com blog

    Sorry, I should have been more clear. Try going to transylvaniafrenchbroadstewards.org and see if it is pointing correctly to your WordPress.com site.
