  Hello I was trying to purchase the domain godschosengeneration.com and instead it purchased godschosengenerationcom.com. How can this be fixed? Please help

  Hey there,

  The reason why you see the com on your blog URL is because you entered godschosengeneration.com into the domain field when you were creating the address. Leave the .com out of the field and enter godschosengeneration – you should get your desired results: godschosengeneration.wordpress.com to go along side your custom domain, godschosengeneration.com.

  You can change your blog address by going to My Blogs, and clicking the Change Blog Address link that appears when you hover over the address you want to change:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/

  Note that you have the option to choose your user name to match the new blog address. If you choose this option, you will not be able to revert back to the original username, and it can affect profile URLs for other services such as Gravatar or IntenseDebate.
