Wrong Email Address

    Hi When we first created the account we missed a letter in entering the email id. We didn’t notice this at first. Now we’ve tried to change the email id to the correct one but we can’t because we need to verify these changes through the other email address which doesn’t belong to us. Is there a way we can resent account information without verification through the originally added email address?

    Hi sakshisong,

    If you created a WordPress.com account using the wrong email address, please try updating it on the Account Settings page.

    Once you’ve entered a new email address and clicked ‘Save Account Settings’, you should receive an email at the new address with a confirmation link. The confirmation link must be clicked in order to confirm the change.

    Give that a try and let me know how you get on.
