Wrong gravatar image showing up in a reply to a comment on a post.
-
My wife writes articles for my gardening website – and, she is listed as an “administrator” User.
She received a comment for a recent post she wrote. When replying to the comment she made sure that both her name and email address was listed for the comment in WordPress.
But, when she refreshed the webpage post my Gravatar image is showing instead of her Gravatar image.
Last year, in July, 2017, she replied to a comment on one of her posts and everything was fine. Her Gravatar image was – and still is showing up on that post.
What could cause this recent post to be showing my Gravatar image instead of her’s?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Since the site listed on your account, homevegetablegardeningblog.wordpress.com has no content I assume you’re referring to another site.
Can you please let me know that site’s address so I can point you in the right direction of getting support?
Please note that these forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If your site is using the self-hosted version of WordPress you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums:

I don’t know how that strange website URL showed up in my question. Sorry about that!
The website in question is:
https://perfect-vegetable-garden.com
If you look at this recently published URL, you will see my Gravatar image when it should be showing my wife, Marty’s Gravatar image in her reply to a comment:
https://perfect-vegetable-garden.com/6-benefits-of-getting-out-of-bed-early
If you look at a URL published in July, 2017, by Marty, her reply to a comment correctly shows her Gravatar image:
https://perfect-vegetable-garden.com/food-preservation
Her name, “Marty”, and her email address are the same in both instances – as shown in the WordPress information for both replies.
Thanks!

Hi there, https://perfect-vegetable-garden.com is hosted at Amazon Web Services, so it is a self-hosted installation and the correct support forum would be: https://wordpress.org/support/.
I would suggest getting your wife to log into http://en.gravatar.com/ and then have her check and make sure the emails and websites associated with her Gravatar account are correct.
I would suggest that you do the same and make sure your gravatar settings and everything are correct.
If you both have WordPress.com accounts, you can log into those and then sign into Gravatar with that.

Turns out that the evil culprit responsible for this debacle was:
Google Analytics Dashboard for WP (GADWP)
Once deactivated, everything worked smoothly – now back to normal!

Hi bpais1,
Glad to hear everything is working again now and I’ll pass your thanks on to @thesacredpath :)
