  Hello,
  I set up a wordpress account in 2008 and no longer use it. I was added as a user to another wordpress site using the same email and am not able to log in to that. I would like to a) shut down this account and b)figure out how to gain access to the account as a contributor. Please advise

  Hi there,

  I see that there is only one site under this account and you are the owner – the site that you are a contributor on must be on a different account, correct? What is the URL of the site that you are a contributor on? I’d be happy to look into this in hopes to assist you in gaining access.

  Hi Daren,
  Yes, the site, called BeautyMatter was created by someone else/on a different account. I am just a contributor on beautymatter.com.
  Please let me know if you’re able to figure out how I can access the beautymatter page.

  Ah – I checked beautymatter.com and it’s a self-hosted WordPress.org account. We have no access to self-hosted accounts. You would need to contact the owner of the beautymatter.com account in order to be removed as contributor. Can you contact the owner of the site?
