wrong name

  I just signed up for WordPress.com about 10 minutes ago. I was unclear in my understanding of what I was doing and discovered that I had registered for a name of jajablonski. I want a name of juliejablonski. I thought jajablonski was the just the user name to get into the account, not the actual name I was registering as my blog/website name. Can I please have it changed to “juliejablonski” – preferrably juliejablonski.com, or else juliejablonski.org?

  If you want juliejablonski.com, or else juliejablonski.org you will need to buy the Custom Domain and Domain Mapping upgrades. Otherwise, you can have juliejablonski.wordpress.com easily enough: go to your Manage My Blogs page and register it. Then set this one you don’t want to Private (on the dashboard of that blog, go to Settings->Reading and set it to private there).

  That way you have the blog you want and a private one you can use to play with themes and widgets and so on before putting them on your real blog.
