    Hi there,

    When you update your email address in your account settings, it sends an email to the new email address to confirm the change. Please keep in mind that you have to choose an email address that is not linked to any other WordPress.com account.

    If you are still having trouble with this, please let me know what email address you are trying to change to. (You can type it in your reply here and our forum software will hide it from everyone except WordPress.com staff.)
