Wrong Website Thumbnail for Social Sharing

    Hello. I am using a free account for now and on setting up stage. I wish to change my display image when sharing my web link to Facebook. I don’t have plugins yet. Will there be any ways to do that without using plugins?

    Hi there,

    In most cases Facebook will use the featured image you add to a specific post or page, or else an image inside that post or page. You can also add a site icon that will be used as the fallback image if neither of those are available.

    Sometimes Facebook uses the wrong image, but that’s something that goes wrong on their end, when an image gets stuck in their cache. Forcing them to clear their cache for your site using their debugger tool usually fixes that.
