  am using latest wordpress
  am trying everything advise re changing in gen settings to https://www. and even the part when they suggest you hard code it in the PHP config file

  Any ideas? sorry

  https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ is working. Are you signed in to your WordPress.org user account? It’s not the same as the one you use here – two different accounts.
