xml_rpc-32700 error on jetpack activation

  i’m unable to connect jetpack to wordpress.com

  i have disabled all plugins, reinstalled and reactivated jetpack. still getting error.

  updated jetpack to the latest (2.0.2). still getting error.

  i have also changed my theme to the default twenty-eleven theme. still getting error.

  i checked my theme’s functions.php file for extra lines, per a forum post on the same topic. still getting error.

  I think i’ve determined the problem to be a DNS issue. I’ll post more details if the problem persists.
