  Hi, I tried to login into my account that is linked to my website, milkatrajkova.com, and I got the message, “Your account has been blocked as a security precaution. To continue, you must reset your password.” I am not receiving the URL reset in my email. I have all the emails associated with my domain. Please help! I do not understand why my account is blocked.

  Thanks for posting in the forums. I understand how concerning it can be to suddenly lose access to your account.

  The message you’re seeing usually means the account was temporarily blocked as a security precaution and the next step is to reset the password for the account. In most cases, completing the password reset will restore access.

  Please try the following:

  1. Go to the password reset page:
     https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
  2. Enter the email address associated with your WordPress.com account.
  3. Check your inbox for the reset email. Be sure to also check your Spam/Junk/Promotions folders in case the email was filtered there.

  If you no longer have access to the email address on the account, or if the reset email never arrives, you can try the account recovery process instead:

  1. Review the account recovery guide here:
     https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
  2. Then fill out the account recovery form:
     https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

  The more ownership details you can provide in the form (such as previous passwords, billing details, or site information), the better the chances of successfully recovering the account.
