Bio
Hello, Pine Springs families!
My name is Amanda Bruns. I am originally from Orange County, California. I have been in North Carolina just under 10 years. It is a beautiful place to call home and we absolutely love it here.
This is my first year at PSPA. I am very excited to be part of the team as an EC teacher. One of my passions in life is teaching and working with children. It is very rewarding!
I received my BA of Psychology from Meredith College. I went on several years later to pursue my MHSA degree specializing in Public Health, which is still in progress. I have worked with exceptional children in various settings since 2009. I am thrilled to continue my teaching journey at PSPA.
I live in Holly Springs with my four amazing children, 3 of which will be students here! We enjoy church, museums, art projects, and exploring this beautiful area. In my free time I enjoy cooking and baking, golf, reading, and anything involving music!
I look forward to getting to know everybody and working with our young scholars!
