Bio
I am a dedicated Scout volunteer who is also disabled. I battle the symptoms of Ehlers Danlos, Myasthenia Gravis, POTS and several other secondary disorders on a daily basis. I do my best to keep moving forward despite all obstacles created by these disorders. There is much that I encounter with my disorders including dislocating and subluxing joints, muscular skeletal problems, severe chronic joint and muscular pain, extreme weakness and fatigue while balancing Low Blood pressure, preventative methods for "passing out episodes", migraines and several other neurological symptoms to name a few. From my own experiences, coming of age on crutches to today's limitations, I find the need for us to raise funds to help provide accessible devices so that others with disabling conditions can access the great outdoors. These are devices that are not usually covered by insurance companies yet access to outdoor scouting programs and enjoyment of the outdoors in general can be very beneficial in so many different ways.
