Adam Skolnick has written about travel, culture, human rights, sports, and the environment for The New York Times, Playboy, Outside, BBC.com, ESPN.com, Men's Health, Wired, and Pacific Standard, among others. As a seasoned international journalist, he has reported from two dozen countries and authored or co-authored over 30 Lonely Planet guidebooks. He's also the author of, ONE BREATH: Freediving, Death and the Quest to Shatter Human Limits, based on his award-winning New York Times coverage of the death of America's greatest free diver.
