Bio
As long as I can remember, art has been a part of my life. Growing up with a mother who was an accomplished artist in Nashville, I learned to cultivate and develop my own artistic stye organically from surrounding art influences. I was lucky to be submerged in the arts from a early age and I continue to draw on all I learned over the years when creating my own pieces. After receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Southern Methodist University, I worked in advertising before leaving the corporate workforce to become an independent artist. Whether working on a still life or an abstract piece, I love finding new ways to express myself through different methods while cultivating new techniques along the way.My perspective and approach to how I create only continues to broaden as I look to new ways to approach the creative process.Many of my paintings encompass bold patterns as well as intricate imagery.
