Bio
Alexandria Knox is a proud resident of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She was born 3 months premature, and though this caused her to have complete vision loss, she comes from a family with strong work ethic and values. Though Alexandria faces this challenge of living with vision loss, Alexandria has lived her entire life with the mantra inspired by Texas Governor Greg Abbott that “Our lives are not defined by our challenges instead, we get to define our lives by how we respond to those challenges.” Alexandria pursued her passion and became a professional musician, traveling all around the country for events big and small playing instruments like the bugle and the highland bagpipe.
Believing that one of the highest callings is service to our country, Alexandria previously was in the Civil Air Patrol and Coast Guard Auxiliary as a Radio Operations Specialist. In her spare time she actively volunteers in support of veterans. One of her most humbling roles has been assisting in solemnly putting American heroes to rest by performing during their funeral ceremonies.
Inspired by her late grandfather Bruce C. Knox, a former Selectman in Auburn: Alexandria has decided to run to help make change for the better and give the district the honest representation it deserves. She hopes to empower others with unique challenges to discover their dreams and live their lives to the fullest.
