Hi everyone, I'm a guy in mid 30s who decided to finally undergo orthodontics, Im based in New Zealand. I have never had lateral incisors, so the cuspids (yep canines) have been occupying that position. Up to my mid 20s I had enormous gaps on both sides right in the front of my smile, making me look like a vampire, with 2 main frontal teeth and right next to them an enormous gap then two sharp canines. After my 25th bday, the entire upper jaw started to move inwards, not only closing all the gaps I always had but also making my entire smile shrink too, which is pretty sad..the mandible (lower arch) on the other hand seems to have spread out creating 1cm gaps on both sides right after the cuspids, making me look like I lost teeth at some stage, again teeth I never had. So this is my journey, in which I will finally try to fix the aforementioned issues. Big changes, new me!!! My blog starts in mid 2014 and will go up to 2017 or thereabouts.
