Bio
My name is Arnice Mercer and I am presently working toward a Master’s degree in the Entertainment Business. I was born and raised in Statesboro, Georgia.
After graduating from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor in Community Health Promotion I joined the United States Army. I pursued a pharmacy technician career for 24 years while in the military. I’ve had the luxury of working in Germany (Hohenfels, Vilseck, and Landstuhl), IRAQ (Baghdad, Mosul, and Tallil) and Fort Bragg, NC, Fort Knox, Ky, Fort Hood, Tx, Fort Sam Houston, Tx, and Fort Drum, NY. I really enjoyed my career in the military because it allow me to grow and master my teamwork and leadership skills. It also allowed me to work in a very diverse background. I recently retired a few months ago and I’m starting at the Apprenticeship phase again because I’m starting something completely different.
My goal in pursuing a Master’s degree in the Entertainment business is to become the best that I can be at my craft. It’s a little scary to begin a new journey but I know that I’m up for the challenge to master my perfect Niche’. Event production and management, Venue design and decor and Marketing and brand are some of the things I will incorporate into my business. I do not know what exactly excellence in entertainment looks like right now, but I think that I’m off to a good start. I want to create great lasting memories for my clients and I would like for my company to be well-rounded, qualitative and quantifiable. My service will be exquisite and will also market itself. I also want to learn from the masters that has all mastered their Niche’s in the Entertainment Business. There’s so much that I still have not learn. I will take advantage of opportunities that come my way. I’m all in.
