Bio
Andy M Davidson, Psy.D is a former Navy Captain (O-6) and Clinical Psychologist who retired after twenty years of service with Special Operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Guantanamo Bay, and Presidential Support Duty. He and his wife, Lori reside on the Outer Banks, NC, while their two surviving children and grandson live in Colorado and Texas.
The author’s first published book When Sunday Smiled, is his account of walking the Appalachian trail while dealing with the death of his oldest son. Currently, he is working on Children of the Cross, a non-fiction book told though the voices of parents whose children have died. Andy’s blog at PsycCentral.com/ThroughLifeandloss reaches those who are seeking answers to life’s most difficult questions. In addition to writing, Andy is a regular speaker at church and civic groups.
