Bio
I work to learn so I can learn to work better. Even though I am a copywriter by profession, I believe that the days of having a core skill set in terms of execution as well as thinking are behind us. In today's ridiculously fast paced life, the idea is the source of all inspiration. It defines why we exist as an individual or even a brand, who we ought to be talking to and what we should be saying. Integration is the future of advertising and communication. An idea could call for anything from a poster or a post card to even an app and a film to talk about it. A great idea is like Moses and all the mediums are people awaiting to be set free. The idea will always show the way and if it's big enough or simply strong enough it could even part seas. So as someone whose job it is to ideate must be capable of transcribing them equally across any medium.
There is a simple method to any project I dig my teeth into. I start with the why. Why? Well because why is your purpose. It's the reason for your existence and the justification to why anyone should care about what you're here for. Once you know they WHY, you'll automatically know WHO you need to talk to. This isn't a demographic segregation. It is the mindset that we want to engage with. Once you've zeroed in on that, the WHAT just comes naturally. What's WHAT? It's what people will remember you for and remember you by.
The true mark of great technology is how human it can be. Today brands must be more like the people it wants to be a part of. It must adhere to its functional side without forgetting that there is an emotion behind every crunched number. Campaigns are no longer built on great lines. They're built on conversations just like all great relationships are. So I'll leave you with this. Why am I here? So I can make a difference to my team. In return we can make a difference to our brand and eventually so our brand can make a difference to people's lives.
