Don't let this photo fool you. This pic was taken recently on my 60th birthday (a) from a good angle, (b) while I sucked my stomach in to the point of feeling faint and (c)in one of those contrived frocks designed to make you look skinny when you are not (have a close look at the black outline - the real me).
I'm April and I'm menopausal.
I wish there was a 12 step program but there isn't.
I'm 8 years in and could still have another 5 to go. So I'm starting my own survival programme for my big fat menopause!
