Bio
Hi, I'm Julia!
You may know me from my autismthoughts blog, but I also have a poetry blog and a religious blog. Blogging isn't a huge part of my life, but it's one of the ways I try to make a difference in the world.
I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from UC San Diego, and am currently working on my second bachelor's degree in computer science. I'm still in the process of figuring out who I am and what I want to do with my life, but I do know I want to make a difference. I eventually hope to become a motivational speaker.
I feel that because of my experiences, I have a lot to offer in terms of different perspectives and empathy for others going through similar situations. I have Asperger's syndrome (aka high functioning autism). I have also been through depression, eating disorders, and some medical issues, among other things. Basically, I'm just a simple kid that has a lot to share with the world and I'm doing my best to do just that.
