Dr. John S. Hutton is a pediatrician, author, and owner of blue manatee children's bookstore and decafé, an award-winning independent in Cincinnati, OH. He is also the founder of blue manatee boxes™, an e-commerce site "retro-lutionizing" gift giving for kids 3 and under via books, boxes, and the utterly unplugged joys and developmental benefits they provide. Dr. Hutton's major interests are the health effects of electronic media on kids, reading and creative play as alternatives, fun, dirt, and reading. He is also a devoted dad.
