Bio
Hi! My name is Ben Mastracco, and i'm what you might call a "foodie." I grew up with a recipe developer mom, and became obsessed with food at a young age. I graduated in 2011 with a degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences from Chico State, and am currently working in the R&D department at Clif Bar and Co.
I recently moved to Berkeley to pursue my job at Clif, and it turns out, that there is a crazy grocery store next to me, filled with fruits and vegetables i've never heard of. So of course, i have made it my personal mission to try them all. I decided to make this blog to document my journey through the produce section at Berkeley Bowl, and my love of everything food related.
