Bio
I’m Natasha Gracious — a Mumbai-based writer, poet, and travel and food writer. My work spans travel writing, restaurant experiences, and lifestyle storytelling, where I explore culture, cuisine, and the sensory details that define a place.
I am the author of Whispered Reverie, a collection that earned me the 21st Century Emily Dickinson Award. I have also written children’s books centred on emotional awareness and mindfulness, reflecting my belief in storytelling that connects and heals.
My journey into writing began after a life-altering health crisis that led me to step away from a 12-year career in Human Resources. Living with chronic illness reshaped my perspective, and I turned to writing as both refuge and purpose — documenting travel experiences, food stories, and reflections on slow, intentional living.
Alongside my work as a writer, I am the founder of TÉRACOTA, a homegrown lifestyle brand creating handcrafted soy candles, bath rituals, and sensory products. My brand and my writing are both rooted in mindful living, natural ingredients, and immersive experiences.
I am also a runway model and beauty pageant titleholder, having won Mrs. Indian Pride Walk Season 2, and I continue to engage with the fashion and lifestyle space as a showstopper, jury member, and guest of honour.
Through my blog and contributions to publications, I write about travel, food, heritage stays, and everyday experiences — capturing stories that linger long after the moment has passed.
