Bio
Brandon Andress is an author, essayist, and lifelong backpacker based in Columbus, Indiana. He is the author of What Can’t Be Hidden, And So By Fire, Beauty in the Wreckage, and Deep Calls to Deep: Meditations for Your Spiritual Journey. His writing often explores truth, peace, transformation, and the stories that shape human belief and behavior.
Beyond writing, Brandon has spent years exploring the backcountry landscapes of the American West, including the John Muir Trail, Wind River Range, Glacier National Park, Denali, Wrangell–St. Elias, and sections of the Pacific Crest Trail. Through both wilderness and words, he is drawn to places that invite reflection, humility, and deeper perspective.
