Dr. Burrows' vibrant and warm personality allows her to interact effortlessly in her profession and would reveal a passion and natural desire to Empower others. Dr. Burrows portfolio includes Theology/Ministry.
While developing her ministry, Dr. Burrows would pen her first book called "The Oracle". This brilliant work and training would lead to a series of successful workshops and seminars geared toward providing adults and youth with the tools for conflict resolutions, spiritual and mental empowerment.
This dedication and commitment to kingdom work and the building-up of a people, would not go unrecognized or unrewarded.
On 8th June 2003, Dr. Burrows was ordained to the sacred order of Prophet and Pastor. She was Installed as Founder and Senior Pastor of Bethel, The City of Refuge Bible Ministries International. With twelve years of service, she was consecrated to the Office of Bishop with the call of an Apostle by the Electoral Wards in Bishops, Barbados on 31st May 2015. Then, on 5th March 2017, Dr. Burrows received double portions as she was conferred an honorary Doctorate Degree of Divinity by the CICA International University & Seminary located in Houston, Texas. She was also appointed Ambassador and Order of Minister Stateswoman, by the Executive Council of World Life Ministries International which is accredited by the United Nations. This appointment (OMS) to the United Nations provides for the title of “Her Excellency” and or "The Right Reverend Dr. the (Honourable) Margo A. Burrows".
Dr. Burrows has come from humble beginnings and shown her-self to be a formidable businesswoman, politician, entrepreneur, author, and speaker. She wears the hat of excellence and is known globally. Dr. Burrows was nominated for the 2017 General Election, as the (DNA) Democratic National Alliance Political Party Candidate in the Great constituency of St. Anne’s.
She is currently the founder and leader of Bethel the City Of Refuge Bible Ministries International where she continues to use her passion in the Apostolic Deliverance Ministry and commitment to teaching, making disciples and Empowering men and women to live lives of prosperity, righteousness and to spread God’s word.
Dr. Burrows is the blessed mother of four children, whom have followed in their mother’s life commitment.
