Bio
Barth holds MA in Social Justice and Community Development from Loyola University, Chicago; and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Pontifical Urbaniana University, Rome. He served as a research and outreach Intern with the Council for a Parliament of the World’s Religions, Chicago, Illinois, USA. As an Intern, Barth provided a framework for the African component of the 2014 Parliament of the World’s Religions in Brussels, Belgium, which is the largest interfaith gathering in the world.
Barth is a business owner and a social entrepreneur. He is also an adjunct professor of Sociology at Felbry College in Columbus, Ohio, and a Doctoral candidate of Public Policy and Social Change at Union Institute & University, Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a Public Policy Analyst, Researcher, Community Organizer and a co-founder of Response to African Youth Dynamics (RAYD), a Non-Governmental Organization that aims at empowering the African Youth through collective and developmental efforts. Barth is deeply interested in global politics, gender issues, girl-child education, youth advocacy, interreligious dialogue, ethnic identity, and women participation in governance/policy formulation, the place of human dignity in policy formulation, governance and development. His hobbies includes; traveling, playing golf, listening to music, watching sports and of course discussing social and political issues.
