Bio
Born in New Orleans, raised in South America and educated in Europe I made my living as a professional artist for over 20 years. My work has been exhibited in multiple museums and galleries across the US and in Europe and lives in many private and corporate collections. I am along-standing member of the National Association of Women Artists in New York and am listed in Who's Who of American Women.
This blog is the continuation of an art journal started in 2007 on www.absolutearts.com when I returned to New Mexico, built my studio and the economy collapsed all at the same time. Those events enabled me to fall into a large crack from which, as many, I could not recover.
In 2013, with the blog "Capitán" I have started to record my personal story. Without family, children or close friends, to whom I could pass this information along, I decided to cast it into the endless void of time and space of the internet, for whatever value it may or may not have.
