Bio
o I am supposed to tell you about me in this box. I am not a fan of being inside the box, but I'll try.
I am a VERY proud wife & mom. They are pretty much my purpose for getting up & pressing forward each day. An away at college son & a kindergarten daughter balance my mothering load.
I am passionate to the core about ministering to women and being a Bible & class leader has been such a gift to my life over the years.
I have a strong desire for writing & have been fortunate to freelance write on a regular basis. Welcoming fresh opportunities & looking forward to new doors opening.
Volunteering as a Child Ambassador for World Vision enables me to introduce others to ways they can also be the hands & feet for those in need, especially children. I feel strongly about grace, mercy & justice re: world & humanitarian issues. http://tiny.cc/worldvision14273
A firm believer & lover of Jesus Christ. He appeared to me on my Damascus walk & totally wrecked my life in all ways wonderful & many times over, confusing.
I am crazy to the core & a huge AL football fan, ROLL TIDE!! I love to travel. I love praise & worship music & I definitely love giving my opinion on things I feel God brings to my mind. Most people find irony in the fact that I am a Bama native & totally grossed out by mac & cheese. Or think it's insane that cheese dip & cheeseburgers are something I have never eaten. I know, right?!
Hopefully, you'll get some encouragement here. I really hope we can hold hands & keep this an argue free zone. Internet stone throwing is a thorn in my side. ::Forgive some of the archived posts. In the beginning I never cared about typing etiquette, so bear with that & try not to gasp. One day I'll find the courage to delete them all::
