Saved and redeemed after much hullabaloo.
The good stuff: Author, bible study leader, jail chaplain, Celebrate Recovery and Christian Wellness facilitator. The bad and so-so stuff: mouthy (I prefer assertive...lol), a bit of a skeptic at times, enjoy watching the BBC, a hugger :0)
I dislike tagging myself with labels. But for those who don't know me-I am traditional, liberal, conservative-depending on the issue. I claim no denomination but I always really dig scriptural life-changing teaching--sans mean-spirited opinions, manipulation or dominance. I am a full-on grateful Christian.
Personal stuff: I finally love my life. Married 30+ years to a great guy, four married adult children and Nana to four adorable kiddos. In my spare time, I play the mandolin, garden, write and read copious amounts of nonfiction and good fiction. I have a passion for bird watching and fishing and tootling around in my Vanagon camper with the hubby and dog.
JESUS, St Francis, Dorothy Day, AW Tozer, John Steinbeck, Sandra Cisneros, Gandhi, and Woody Guthrie are my heroes for one reason or another.
