Bio
Born in Havana, Cuba, and raised in Miami, FL, I grew in a loving home. I graduated from Design Architecture Senior High (D.A.S.H.) and received my Bachelors at American Intercontinental University. I'm currently pursuing my Master's program at Full Sail University. I have been working in the health industry for the past 18 years. I have also had the pleasure of working with various Fortune 500 companies throughout my career, such as MetLife, Humana. Now in my 40s, I have discovered what I knew all along, which was following once my path as a Comic Book Illustrator. I the past six years, I worked illustrating pages and comic books covers for a few indie local comic books companies, Creature Entertainment, and Dark Side comics. I'm working on my Master's program because I want to follow my passion. I feel it's never too late to pursue your dreams in life. In my experience, this is one of the simple tasks which brings peace, joy, and excitement, besides my family.
The artist inside, I'm a kid at heart. I enjoy using creativity and imagination to construct elaborate illustrations for clients. I feel a sense of gratification when I present my work to customers, and I brings joy to their life, their eyes light up, it’s the equivalent of reliving a happy moment in their childhood. My Inspirations drives from the 80s and the 90s nostalgia of the comics, cartoons, and movies. My art style kindheartedly reflects the period. It was a wonderful time in my youth, and I saw things with such wholesomeness creativity. In the early ’90s, the artists were coming out with new innovative ways to capture the reader attention, at the same time showcasing their unique flair for styles. I grew up studying their unique abilities of storytelling by allowing the reader to lose themselves in the art, I mean you didn’t have to read the whole book, to understand the concept. It seized the meaning “A picture can tell you a thousand word.”
