Bio
I am a wife and mom of 3 wonderful children. Our son is on the autism spectrum and also has Celiac Disease and we have 2 girls, all are in middle and elementary school.
As a child, I was bullied from 4th grade on through high school and in the summer before senior year, I planned my suicide, believing that my family would be better off without me. I didn't think I had anything worthwhile to contribute society or to anyone, when in reality, all of us do.
Over the years, I realized that what I experienced could be useful for helping others realize how important they really are to this world and that they can be strands of light for others as we navigate through this life and help each other thrive and not just survive.
We can impact the lives of others by the smallest gesture of kindness and love when we may not even realize it.
My hope is that this blog will help you see your value, that you are not alone, that your story matters and no matter how insignificant you may think your journey is, it is a source of strength, courage and endurance for others, who you may never know you have impacted.
