Bio
Chris Travis writes fantasy and speculative fiction. He endeavors to create “miss-your-train-stop stories, the kind that absorb the reader in the happy concentration enjoyed by children at play, mystics in prayer, and artists at work, who forget to eat.” His debut novel, Stonefoot, is a harrowing adventure through a frontier wilderness full of gun smoke, blood magic, and betrayal— a work of epic, flintlock fantasy. When Chris isn’t trying to figure out how his protagonists can possibly survive, you can find him playing with his kids, practicing Shaolin Kung fu, hiking in the woods, or sipping whisky. He lives in New York City with his wife and three little boys.
