Bio
James F. Fox began his professional career at 17 with the US Navy and the US Naval Academy. at the Naval Academy, James earned Superintendent’s list honors multiple times and served as a Battalion Commander. After graduating with honors, James served five years as a commissioned officer receiving the Surface Warfare Officer designation and was awarded both the Navy Achievement and Navy Commendation medals.
James then attended The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he received a MBA with majors in Strategy and Management of Information Systems.
James joined McKinsey & Company for four years. While at McKinsey, he focused on unit level strategy, leveraging IT to increase value and business operations.
James next co-founded his first of three venture backed technology companies covering SaaS platforms, mobile communications and big data integration and analytics.
In between those technology start-ups, James continued to consult to the Fortune 1000 and internationally on topics such as unit strategy, service operations, aligning business strategy to IT, information security and risk management, IT operations, IT strategy and portfolio management and technology product development.
James has particular interest or "spikes" in Technology Product Development, Mobile Applications, Big Data, Data Integration, Information Security Management Systems and Decision Support Systems. James has managed the launch of five cloud and mobile applications over the last 8 years.
