Bio
Clara King is an attorney and advocate for juvenile justice. She has over 20 years of experience as a criminal defense attorney. She is president and founder of Watchdogs For Justice, a non-profit organization established to help decrease the number of young people entering the criminal justice system. She is a co-author of This Is Not Cool, volumes I & II, written to show young people how one wrong decision can have lifetime negative consequences. Her most recent book, Thirty-Five Years on Death Row, is about a man who was on death row for over 35 years due to bad choices made by him and his parents. In August of 2015, he was finally removed from death row to a regular prison with the potential for parole. He life has changed dramatically and he is filled with hope for a bright future.
