Bio
Colin worked in or served the brewing and food industry for his entire career,
Beginning at Castlemaine Perkins Brewery, Brisbane , Queensland (1966 to 1969) followed by moving to Melbourne as Chief Chemist of Courage Brewery.(1970 to1978)
During this time Colin became associated with the Australian International Beer Awards on their tasting panel and later as Chief Judge.
Colin then joined Biocon International as Managing Director of Biocon Australia, responsible initially for Food Ingredient sales to Southeast Asian Breweries and Food Manufacturers in addition to researching personnel for Biocon India and Biocon Philippines. (1979 to 1990) .
Biocon Australia was taken over by Quest International, the Flavour and Fragrance Division of Unilever in 1990.
Colin then worked for Quest International (1990 to 1994) as Director of Food Ingredient for South East Asia.
Following this Colin purchased back what remained of Biocon Australia from Quest and became Managing Director of Deltagen Australia which manufactured products for Quest as well as supporting sales and technical information (1994 to 2004) and since has remained associated wit Deltagen Australia as a consultant.
