Bio
I started in polymer clay and jewelry making because I was trying to find a way to make my own custom jewelry. Little did I know that these arts would become a passion of mine. There are many benefits to polymer clay and jewelry making in not only the craft themselves, but they are a relaxing and therapeutic medium.
I believe everyone to some degree has stress in their lives. Dating back to my high school days, I found that I had less stress making my own jewelry. After being introduced to polymer clay many years later, I found the two go hand-in-hand in creating beautiful jewelry, and being a great stress reliever. For example, the motion of kneading the clay is a stress reliever (remember the stress balls that some people have at their desk at work?), not to mention the instant gratification of creating something beautiful and unique with your own hands. The possibilities of jewelry making are endless.
The designers I most inspire from are Rachel Roy, Michael Kors, Kendra Scott, Jennifer Meyer, Ippolita Jewelers, Joan Hornig, and Louis Vuitton.
