Bio
Deirdre Cronin is a recent Graduate of the MA in Creative Writing at University College Dublin. She is currently putting manners on her first novel. Her poetry has featured on Sunday Miscellany. The teaching faculty at UCD encouraged her subversive streak, enabling a weave of obsessions into her work - music, myth, the politics of food. The music might be dangerous; there’s a new hankering to learn the tin-whistle - she has forewarned her nearest and dearest. On reflection, the hankering's not new. If she could do justice to an ancient song, there might be no call to write.
