Bio
I am a writer of crime thrillers with two books published. Rings of Smoke and the sequel, Cold Blooded. I am now hard at work on my third crime thriller, with a working title of, Barttholamew Hodge . . . watch this space, as they say.
I have travelled globally and God willing will continue to do so, the USA is my favourite destination - always! Goa in India is a big favourite with its Christian churches, snow-white beaches and Sunsets that will leave you speechless. My favourite European destinations are Florence, Italy and the gorgeous Bavarian region of Germany. Austria and Switzerland always leave me breathless with their stunning beauty.
I have read many thousands of books including a huge number of great English classics; Thomas Hardy, Anthony Trollope and George Eliot are my absolute favourites of those years gone by. I have a wide interest in many genres but I am definitely not a slushy romantic book reader; chick lit I can deal with only just, my all-time favourite from that genre is Bridget Jones' Diary - I must have read that one at least three times and I still laugh out just as loud - I'm embarrassed to have to admit to having watched the film at least six times! That movie and another fantastic comedy, 'Blades of Glory' (no relation to Bridge of course) have me in tears of laughter!
I am a great cook (you may say that modesty isn't one of my better traits, and I would laugh and agree with you! ) and I love to entertain with as many people around my table as possible! I'm an accomplished Curry cook and I make a killer Sunday roast, too!
