Bio
The writer has years of experience teaching English as a second language, and since Covid has also taught Spanish privately. His professional experience and training also inlude translation, interpretation, court reporting, technical writing, and customer service. He earned a master of arts degree in Applied Linguistics and Discourse Studies (TESL stream) from Carleton University in 2017; and earned his BA in English Linguistics and Communication from the UPR, where he also took French courses. His interests include the arts, including martial arts and cinema. After completing his first feature story, he began a journey that left him homeless, unemployed, single, and broke in New York.
