Located in Hoima, Empagi za Bunyoro Foundation is a Non religious and Not for Profit Making Organization which thrives on Bunyoro-Kitara’s cultural protection and conservation concerns especially amongst the respective communities. It is particularly given encouragement by the zeal to restore the once glorious cultural diversity of Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom. EBF capitalizes on cultural protection, conservation, developmental concerns to build an interdisciplinary approach towards helping Bunyoro’s community to harness, enjoy and utilize her vast cultural diversity. It is envisaged that the revitalization of the cultural potential will lay a firm foundation for tackling the true development of the Bunyoro-Kitara as a region in all respective diversities
VISION-The Vision of EBF is to become a leading centre of Excellence in Protection/Conservation and Development of the Culture of Bunyoro amongst and beyond driven by competitiveness in community development concerns
MISSION-The Mission of EBF is to facilitate accelerated community based participation in development strategies
AIM -The aim of EBF is to address Bunyoro Kitara regions cultural issues/ concerns and building an interdisciplinary approach towards helping the respective communities especially the youth to develop
OUR OBJECTIVES
• To sensitize the public/youth about the cultures of Bunyoro Kitara region community through designing various strategies and schemes that shall effect a total communications and education programs on a sustained year to year basis
• To promote sustainable use and management of cultural and natural resources through regular sensitization seminars and workshops
• To advocate for human rights amongst the children youth and women through creating awareness and sensitization along respective communities
• To enhance the capacity of the rural communities to handle health and environmental management through information dissemination, education, and service delivery To undertake conferences on cultural and development diversity and any other subject, and thus accent the significance of this discipline or any discipline for that matter in the dynamics of cultural community based development
• To assist in the implementation of the local, national and international community based programs in the community including support on cultural conservation and thus mobilize this great mass of people for development concerns
• To promote sustainable agriculture, including credit and savings in the community
FURTHER: EBF undertakes to engage the youth in various developmental projects including but not limited to Environmental and Climate Change sensitization, Business Training, Cultural Development, Information Technology skills development, Vocation Training and many others, to this the youth are assisted to cope up with the cutting age era so as to match with the global demands at the international scene. The organization also undertakes lobbying from international and national organizations including the government and local authorities

• EBF maintain its independence in pursuance of its objectives, though it operates under the generally set guidelines governing Non Governmental Organizations in the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda
