Bio
I am an expert by experience. I have used a wide variety of mental health services over the last 27 years. I am also a former social worker in mental health. I have a wide professional portfolio including time spent as a research associate, university lecturer, social housing, homelessness investigator and a significant range providing community services for people with learning disabilities. I have held 2 management roles in housing and elderly residential care.
At present I work as an expert for the CQC Care Quality Commission who contract the work to Remploy Maximus. I am currently in the process of establishing a unique training organisation that recruits people on primarily their shared experiences of services. I believe there is ano increasing demand for service user focused training and I want to be at the forefront of this. Anybody who wishes to get involved at any level with a view to joining the training pool are very welcome please get in touch.
