Bio
I graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy in 1975. Imagine my surprise when I couldn't find any in-house philosopher positions.
After a bout of counting 32-inch men's underwear at a department store, selling shipping supplies, and doing photography and "news" writing for a construction magazine, I settled into my life's' work: explaining things. That is, I became a technical writer.
During those years, I perfected a one-liner. I am a technical writer because I have a neurotic need to explain things.
After 27 years with the Boeing Company, I retired and created my OWN in-house philosopher position. I wrote "Exploring the Gap between Science and Religion."
I now spend my time discussing the ideas, researching, blogging, and envisioning what the next book will look line and say.
