Bio
Award-Winning formerly San Francisco-based Photographer, now residing adjacent to the Tonto National Forest on the outskirts of Scottsdale, AZ.
Credits include photographing for 4 National flower Societies (National Dahlia, Iris, Orchid and Daffodil Societies) as well as for 3 major flower commercial growers in CA and in WA states (Dan’s Dahlias, Aztec Dahlias, Schreiner’s Iris Gardens).
Has had photographs appear in the San Francisco Chronicle, Dahlias of Today, with exhibits at the National Iris Society’s Shows in St. Louis; the National Dahlia Society Shows in both Seattle and Everest, WA; the Pacific Orchid & Garden Expositions in San Francisco; the Oregon Flower Growers’ Shows; the Daffodil Society National Shows in Murphy’s CA and those in St. Louis (with a commissioned calendar from the ADS for the Chicago Botanical Garden); among others.
Was selected by juried competition to present a 3-month solo exhibit "Dahlias!" at the Helen Crocker Russell Library of Horticulture at Golden Gate Park while serving as the National Photography Chair for the American Dahlia Society (2011).
Complementing the many floral exhibits have been three awards in the Hawk Conservancy Trust’s photography contest (Andover, Hampshire UK), in both the Visually Pleasing and in the Technical categories.
Real Estate Photography: 9 years Photographer for in the San Francisco Bay area (2008-2016) for BJ Droubi Realty (now droubiteam); Herth Real Estate; Vanguard Realty Group; Zephyr Real Estate; plus various independent shoots.
