Bio
I have done a lot of things, made and lost fortunes, traveled to far off places and enjoyed meeting different people of different cultures and sampling their hospitality. As I have entered my third score in years I feel like sharing some of my "Thoughts and my Visions," hence this blog...
I added two additional sites, "Visions of a Seeker" and "This is my beloved." In "Visions," I give an alternative perspective on something generally media related that I have seen or heard. I started out with songs that “touched me” in some way. They may also include photographs of events that I was actually witness to. In the end, it is all about the feeling they gave me.
The most recent site’s name, "This is my beloved," is taken from an old album from the early 1970s by the late Arthur Prysock. The album is based on a tale during the post-World War II era by Walter Benton. It is about love found and love lost. This is a subject that has always been near and dear to me. It helped influence my early orientation as a young man. This was a wonderful and “new” sensation for me. I have chosen to write about some of my own observations and feelings pertaining to the subject.
"This is my beloved" has been a part of “expanding my reach” in an effort to find the one to complete me…
Not too long ago, I added this fourth blog-site, "AnElderGent." It will highlight my comments and advice on a myriad of subjects, based on the cumulative knowledge acquired during my lifetime to date. I truly believe that experience is the best teacher or in my case, "the best advisor..." I seek to share my perspectives on things that I have witnessed and the wisdom that I have absorbed. Hopefully, you will also benefit from my journey...
In all the blogs, I seek to entertain, be brief and inform. I sincerely hope you enjoy!
