Bio
I've been on a small town volunteer fire department for a little over a year. Due to scheduling restrictions, I'm just now able to participate in Fire Fighter 1 training. This is my training story! I support our police officers, and have a great respect for EMS. I love hiking, exploring, firefighting (of course), skiing.. and just generally being outdoors. I'm really excited for learning the trade, and obtaining the qualifications to enter a burning building, and serve my community any way I can. Not sure its proper to say exactly what department I'm part of, but I am proud to be a firefighter. I've been on dozens of calls already, everything from car wrecks, to lift assists, sandbagging a flooding river, to a couple wildland type fires.
