Bio
Sixteen years ago I retired from a career in medical technology and began this blog with the intention of chronicling my journey as I began a doctoral program in history. By 2014, I had a Ph.D. in history and was writing about travel, books, and experiences from both a medical and history perspective.
Ten years have passed since that milestone and now I begin the New Year of 2024 as a white-haired great-grandmother, still reading and traveling, but facing the choices and challenges of growing older in a changing world as we stand here together on History’s Edge.
