Born 1936, second generation Earth Scientist. Father, Walter Johnson, MI Tech Grad, Mining Geology, 1932, Chief Geologist, Sohio, 1949-1950, I graduatedf Augustana College, IL 1960 B.A. Physics, Penn State 1965 M.S. Geophysics. AMOCO 32 Years, Data Processing, Research, Supervision, Interpretation. Retired 1994, Consulted, AMOCO, ENRON, SE LA Land Owner, and small companies. Taught advanced Velocity Course for AMOCO General Office and developed the Velocity details for the corporate database. Two Patents (AMOCO assignment) involving 2D and 3D seismic data acquisition patterns that prevent decoupling of source oriented parameters (Statics, Amplitude, and etc.).
