I am a 38 year old, anxious AF mother of 2 badass babies who is on a mission to figure out how to get out of my own damn way! My marriage is nowhere near perfect but we love each other madly (is that enough?!) & I was raised in total dysfunction. All of the above permeates into the fabric of me; this blog is my outlet to raise awareness to things we all experience, feel deep down inside & want to ask about, discuss, dissect, explore & just don’t feel comfortable doing so...NOTHING is off limits here. NOTHING. Let’s be vulnerable. Let’s lose the judgemental, knee jerk reactions & let’s cut each other & ourselves a damn break! We’re all hard enough on ourselves so perhaps it’s time we have a place to go a bit easier on one another. I’ve spent my life trying to rid myself of so many of my “flaws” only to realize that maybe they aren’t all negatives...what if they’re simply pieces of my story that have created who I am & my purpose on this planet?
